About Me

I completed my initial massage training in October of 2000 and have worked in clinical settings and private practice since then. I have absolutely found the work that I love! I believe in the power of human touch for healing, and it has been an honor to participate in the healing process of hundreds of people over the years. I come from an affectionate and demonstrative family and touch has always been my love language. I was in a car accident at the age of 16 and suffered severe whiplash and PTSD. I was fortunate to have chiropractic care immediately following the accident and had my first professional massage six months later. Being a soccer player and not having much upper body strength, I suffered from headaches and neck pain, but after that first massage, I got up from the table with tears of happiness streaming down my face because I had regained full range of motion of my neck. Needless to say, I became a believer that bodywork is an essential part of healing from musculoskeletal injury.

I am bilingual and am happy to be able to communicate with my Spanish speaking clients in their native language. In my free time, I love to read, travel, dance cumbia with my husband and spend time outdoors with our sons.
